Tomatoes and bell peppers are not used in this recipe. Adjika is prepared exclusively from bitter pepper with the addition of garlic and some spices. Even without cooking and sterilization, it is perfectly stored in a cool place for up to 2 years.
Ingredients
- Hot red pepper - 500 g
- Garlic - 100 g
- Hops-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Set aside one pod of hot pepper, cut the rest of the pepper in half and peel from the seeds.
Chop garlic, whole and peeled pepper in a blender.
Add spices, sugar, salt and mix well.
Spread the adjika in clean, dry jars, close the lids tightly and put it in a dark, cool place.
