Classic tkemali sauce is made from cherry plum or plum, but sometimes you want variety and something new. In this recipe we use tomatoes, which must be ripe and juicy. The finished sauce turns out bright and fragrant, and is perfectly combined with meat dishes and potato slices.
Ingredients
- Plums - 400 g
- Tomatoes - 150 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Basil - 0.5 beam
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the plums, and peel the tomatoes.
Chop them in a blender with two types of pepper, garlic and basil.
Bring the mass to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.
Add spices and vinegar, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Roll the sauce into sterilized jars.
