There is a huge viburnum bush growing in our garden. The harvest is always generous, so you have to preserve berries in large quantities. I like to make jam from red viburnum with stones. You can't keep it for more than one year, but, to be honest, it never stays that long.
Ingredients
- Kalina - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1,5 kg
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the viburnum berries from the brushes and rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Place in a saucepan, cover with sugar and mash with a masher.
Cover with a lid and leave for 1 hour.
Bring the jam to a boil over low heat and add citric acid.
Boil for 10 minutes, arrange in jars and roll up.
