Classic tkemali is made from plums or cherry plums, but I like to use other fruits for it. For example, a very original variation of tkemali from apricots turns out. In addition, it is also an incredibly appetizing color.
Ingredients
- Apricots - 1 kg
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Dill - 1 bundle
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the apricots and fill the halves with water so that it almost covers them.
Boil for half an hour until soft and chop in any way.
Separately chop the chili, garlic and herbs.
Add all the ingredients to the apricots and boil the tkemali for another 10 minutes.
Roll the sauce into sterilized jars.
