Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Fig - 50 g
- Onion - 0.5 kg
- Walnuts - 90 g
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Parsley - 1 bundle
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Garlic - 100 g
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Vinegar - 3 art.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Allspice - 7 peas
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the tomatoes and put them through a meat grinder.
Finely chop the onion and chili, and fry them until soft.
Mix the onion and tomatoes, and simmer for about an hour on low heat.
Add sugar, salt, chopped nuts, rice and all spices, and simmer for another 20 minutes.
Add chopped herbs, garlic and vinegar, and cook for another 15 minutes.
Roll up the grub in sterile jars.
