Canned fish at home is a great way to keep fresh fish for a long time. It is not difficult to make it at all, the main thing is to prepare everything you need in advance. I usually use fresh fish, which I just cut into pieces, but which one is not so important anymore.
Ingredients
- Fish - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Salt - 0.5 tbsp.l .
- Vegetable oil - 120 ml
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp.l.
- Allspice - 6 peas
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the fish and cut into portions.
Chop the onion, grate the carrots and add everything to the fish.
Add the tomato and salt there, and mix.
Put the spices in sterile jars and pour in the oil.
Pack the fish and vegetables tightly and cover the jars with foil.
Put them in a cold oven, heat it to 180 degrees, and then reduce the temperature to 120.
Simmer canned food in the oven for about 7 hours and roll it up.
