Like jam, compote for the winter can be rolled up from almost any ingredients, if you show a little imagination. A few years ago, for the first time I tried such an unusual preparation of cherry plums and zucchini – and this time I want to share it with you.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Arbitrarily slice the zucchini and put it in a jar with cherry plum.

Pour boiling water, cover and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain this water, boil it again and fill the blank again for 10 minutes.

Drain the water again, add sugar and lemon juice, boil until the sugar dissolves and pour the compote again.

Roll up the jar for the winter.
