For this recipe, you will need small apples of the "Ranetki" variety. They begin to mature in early autumn. Jam from paradise apples is a wonderful decoration for your desserts and an unusual delicacy that will always surprise guests and loved ones.
Ingredients
- Apples (ranetki) – 2 kg
- Sugar - 2 kg
- Water - 600 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water, add sugar and boil for 10 minutes.
Pour in the prepared apples, boil for 1 minute and turn off the heat. Cover with a lid and leave for 3-5 hours.
Pour the syrup into a separate saucepan, boil for 2 minutes and add the apples again. Remove from the stove and insist under the lid for 3-4 hours.
Repeat the procedure two more times.
Boil the syrup with apples for the last time for 5 minutes. Arrange in jars, roll up, turn upside down and wrap up for a day with a blanket.
