Speaking about the original combinations for compotes, I want to separately mention hawthorn and chokeberry. A great way out when raspberries, cherries and strawberries with currants are already bored. I'm telling you how to properly prepare such an interesting option.
Ingredients
- Chokeberry - 200 g
- Hawthorn - 150 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Water - 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort out the hawthorn and blackberries, and put them in a clean jar.
Pour boiling water, leave for 7 minutes and drain this water.
Boil it again and pour it for another 7 minutes.
Drain again, add sugar to it and boil until it dissolves.
Pour into a jar and roll up the compote for the winter.
