One of the original culinary finds is dry jam. Not quite candied fruits and not at all the usual jam – it at least definitely attracts attention. And it's just really delicious. Catch a recipe for dry apricot jam.
Ingredients
- Apricots - 1.2 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 800 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut apricots into slices or to taste.
Cook a homogeneous syrup from water and sugar.
Put apricots in syrup and boil for half an hour.
Remove the pan from the heat, let it cool completely and cook for another half hour.
Flip the apricots into a colander and let drain.
Put the pieces on parchment and put them in the oven for 6-7 hours at 50 degrees.
You can dry them in the dryer.
If desired, sprinkle the dry jam with powdered sugar and put it in jars.
