Put everything aside and start cooking plums with garlic in a marinade for the winter. It won't take much time, and in the end you will have a fragrant appetizer for meat. Sweet and sour fruits are perfectly combined with chicken, duck or beef dishes.

Ingredients

  • Plums - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 50 g
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Allspice - 3 peas
  • Black Pepper - 6 peas
  • Vinegar - 100 ml
  • Sugar - 60 g
  • Salt - 40 g
  • Water - 800 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put spices and peeled garlic cloves in jars.

Prick the plums with a needle in several places and put them in jars.

Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt.

Boil for 2 minutes, pour in the vinegar and immediately remove from the heat.

Pour the boiling marinade into jars, roll up the plums with garlic and wrap with a thick towel.
