Delicious billet for fish lovers. Salad with sprat in tomato sauce is prepared without sterilization. The ingredients are sequentially put into the cauldron and stewed. It is not necessary to mix the salad once again, otherwise it will turn into porridge.
Ingredients
- Sprat - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 500 g
- Carrots - 150 g
- Onion - 150 g
- Garlic - 50 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vinegar - 30 ml
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1,5 art.l.
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Gut the sprat, remove the heads and tails, rinse thoroughly.
Chop tomatoes, carrots and peeled onions in a blender.
Fry onions and carrots in oil for 3-5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add sprat, sugar, salt, spices and hot water. Cover with a lid and simmer for 40 minutes on low heat.
Pour in the vinegar, add the garlic passed through the press and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Arrange the sprat with vegetables in jars and roll up.
