Ingredients

  • Apricots - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 2 kg
  • Pectin - 15 g
  • Citric acid - at the tip of the knife
  • Water - 500 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Disassemble the apricots into halves, peel the seeds and place them in a saucepan.

Mix the pectin with 100 g of sugar and set aside.

Boil the water, add the remaining sugar and boil for 7 minutes.

Pour in the apricot halves, turn off the heat and leave under the lid for 1 hour.

Remove the apricots with a slotted spoon, put the syrup on the fire and boil again for 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the apricot halves, boil for 1 minute, remove from heat and set aside for 1 hour.

Remove the fruit with a slotted spoon, bring the syrup to a boil.

Add citric acid, pectin preparation and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour in the apricot halves, boil everything together for 5 minutes and roll up.
