Have you ever tried cooking bell peppers in oil for the winter? Fragrant vegetables in sweet and sour marinade with spices are an ideal snack to warm up your appetite. I advise you to use large and fleshy pepper for this recipe.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 2 kg
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 120 ml
- Vinegar - 120 ml
- Allspice - 2 peas
- Black Pepper - 4 peas
- Salt - 1,5 tbsp.l.
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the bell pepper in half and peel off the seeds.
In a large saucepan, mix water, vegetable oil, salt and spices.
Bring to a boil, add the bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
Fish out the pepper with a slotted spoon and carefully put it in the prepared jars.
Add vinegar to the boiling marinade, pour the jars to the top and roll up.
