This is one of those preserves that housewives are proud to put on the table in front of guests. Strawberry jam-five minutes with whole berries turns out beautiful, fragrant and delicious! For best results, use slightly firm strawberries.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 2 kg
  • Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
  • Water - 400 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pick strawberries, peel off the sepals and rinse under running water.

Boil water with sugar and boil for 5 minutes.

Pour in the strawberries and turn off the heat. Cover the pan with a lid and leave for 2 hours.

Add citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.

Carefully arrange the hot jam in the prepared jars, roll it up and wrap it with a thick towel for a day.
