It would seem that what do mayonnaise and preparations for the winter have in common? In fact, it very harmoniously complements some vegetable snacks. For example, such zucchini will become a full-fledged independent dish at a family dinner or even on a festive table.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 3 kg
- Onion - 500 g
- Mayonnaise - 250 g
- Vegetable oil - 150 ml
- Tomato paste - 250 g
- Sugar - 0.5 glasses
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the zucchini and finely chop with onion.
Add butter, tomato and mayonnaise. Bring to a boil and simmer for an hour on low heat.
Add the remaining sugar, salt and spices, and simmer for another hour.
Roll the workpiece into sterilized jars.
