I want to share with you a recipe for jam from nectarines slices. Just imagine the combination of crispy pieces of fruit and thick syrup. The cooking process is simple, but long. Together with the necessary intervals, it takes about 5 hours.

Ingredients

  • Nectarine - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Water - 400 ml
  • Lemon juice - 50 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the nectarine in half, peel the seeds and cut into slices.

Boil water in a large saucepan, add sugar and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the nectarine slices, turn off the heat and leave under the lid for 2 hours.

Fish out the pieces of fruit with a slotted spoon, boil the syrup for 3 minutes.

Add the slices, boil for 2 minutes, turn off the heat and remove again for 2 hours to the side.

Put the pan on the fire, add lemon juice and boil everything together for 10 minutes.

Arrange the jam in clean, dry jars and roll it up.
