Ingredients
- Beetroot - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Onion - 200 g
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Dried chili pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Vinegar - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the onion and fry in oil until soft.
Add grated carrots and beets. Add sugar, salt and spices to the same place.
Pour in a couple of tablespoons of water and simmer the caviar on low heat for about 60-70 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar and roll the caviar into sterile jars.
