Spend a little more than 1 hour and you will get an incredibly delicious preparation for the winter. Ginger tomatoes in tomato filling can be used for cooking various dishes and served on the table instead of salad. It is very difficult to refuse a fragrant snack.

Ingredients

For mushrooms:
  • Ginger - 2 kg
  • Onion - 250 g
  • Vegetable oil (odorless) – 100 ml
  • Water - 4 l
For filling:
  • Tomato sauce - 400 ml
  • Black Pepper - 6 peas
  • Sugar - 1 art.l.
  • Salt - 1,5 art.l.
  • Water - 500 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the ginger, pour cold water and boil for 20 minutes.

Put the mushrooms in a colander and rinse again.

Peel and finely chop the onion.

Fry the onion in oil until transparent.

Add the mushrooms and continue to fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.

In a separate saucepan, mix water, tomato sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper. Boil for 5 minutes.

Arrange the fried ginger in jars, add the tomato filling and sterilize for 15 minutes.

Roll up, turn upside down and wrap up for a day with a warm blanket.
