I want to share with you a recipe for jam made from watermelon pulp with lemon. I made this amazing discovery last season. Two liters of jam boiled on trial, flew away instantly. This time I plan to approach the issue more responsibly!
Ingredients
- Watermelon (pulp) – 1 kg
- Lemon - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 250 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the watermelon pulp from the seeds and cut into small pieces.
Wash the lemons with boiling water and dry them with napkins.
Remove 1 tsp of zest and set aside.
Peel the lemons, white films and pass them through a meat grinder.
Boil water, add sugar, zest and lemon juice, boil for 5 minutes.
Pour in the watermelon pieces, turn off the heat and remove to cool.
Put the pan on a slow fire, boil for 20 minutes, arrange in jars and roll up.
