This recipe was once cooked by my grandmother, and then my mother. Years have passed and I cook fragrant blueberry jam with apples. However, I had to introduce some innovations. For example, at a certain stage I mash the mass with an immersion blender.
Ingredients
- Blueberries - 2 kg
- Apples - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1,5 kg
- Citric acid - 2 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the apples into quarters and peel the seeds.
Place the chopped apples and blueberries in a saucepan.
Cover with sugar and leave for 2 hours.
Put the pan on low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
With an immersion blender, puree the mass until smooth.
Add citric acid, boil for another 5 minutes and roll up.
