Sea buckthorn is good for everyone, but it is naturally sour. That is why it is often mixed with other fruits or berries in blanks. So my family especially loved the compote of sea buckthorn and apples – with a bright aroma and harmonious taste.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Randomly slice the apples and sort the sea buckthorn.

Put everything in sterile jars and pour boiling water over it.

Leave for 15 minutes under the lid.

Drain this water, add sugar to it and boil it again. You can add vanilla or cinnamon.

Pour the apples with sea buckthorn and roll up the compote.
