In sunny Greece, this salad is called "Choriatiki", which translates as "rustic salad". It is prepared from simple products that every Greek peasant has in his house. I offer you a simple and delicious recipe!
Ingredients
- Salad mix - 150 g
- Feta - 150 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 200 g
- Bow purple - 1 piece
- Olives (without a bone) – 150 g
- Sesame - 1 tbsp.l.
- Flax Seeds - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
- Oregano - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the salad mix under running water, shake it off and put it on a paper towel to dry.
Cut cucumbers into circles, tomatoes into small slices, and onions into half rings. Peel the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds and chop it.
Chop the feta into cubes. Try not to cut too finely, ideally the pieces should be the same size as olives.
In a wide salad bowl, mix the salad mix, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, bell peppers and olives.
Add salt, oregano, ground pepper, olive oil, lemon juice. Mix everything carefully.
Put the feta cubes on top, sprinkle with sesame seeds and flax seeds. Greek salad is ready!
