Many refuse delicious dishes because they have to watch their figure. Fortunately, herring under a fur coat can be cooked without mayonnaise. Just replace the usual ingredient with yogurt. It seems to me that this makes the salad even tastier!
Ingredients
- Herring (low salt) – 1 piece
- Beetroot (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Carrots (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 g
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Greek yogurt - 200 ml
- Greenery (different) – halfpuchka
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and gut the herring. Carefully remove the fish fillet from the bones and chop it finely.
Chop all the greens and onions, too. Set aside some of the greens immediately to decorate the finished salad.
Grate boiled potatoes, carrots, beets and eggs.
Put a layer of potatoes on a plate, season with salt and pepper. For the convenience of cooking, I use a serving ring.
Add layers of herring, onion and Greek yogurt on top.
Spread out a layer of boiled eggs, sprinkle a little with herbs, salt and pepper.
Brush gently with Greek yogurt again.
Add boiled grated carrots in the next layer.
Put the beetroot mixed with yogurt on top of the carrots.
Decorate the salad with herbs, and then put it in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours to infuse. Light and delicious herring under a fur coat is ready!
