The following recipe will appeal to lovers of spicy. A hot dog with fried onions and pickled cayenne pepper is a very tasty snack. I cook it with sweet mustard and fried sausage. The taste is perfectly set off by a soft bun with poppy seeds.
Ingredients
- Bun (for hot dogs) – 4 pieces
- Sausages - 4 pieces
- Cayenne pepper (pickled) – 200 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Mustard - to taste
- Olive oil - 20 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk and cut it.
Fry the sausages in a well-heated frying pan with oil.
Put the sausages on a plate, and fry the onion in the remaining oil until golden brown.
Cut the bun so that the opposite side remains intact.
Insert the sausage and make a shallow incision on it.
Fill the cut in the sausage with fried onions.
Add the pickled pepper and mustard. Repeat the steps with the rest of the buns.
