Forshmak is a very self–sufficient dish in itself. But it can also be diversified with unusual additives and spices. From non-classical, but simple solutions, I really like to add a little grainy mustard.
Ingredients
- Herring (fillet) – 3 pieces
- Grainy mustard - 2 art.l.
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- White bread - 2 slices
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the white bread with water and soak.
Boil hard-boiled eggs, coarsely chop herring and onion.
Chop everything with a blender. Add crushed garlic, spices and grainy mustard.
Mix the forshmak and serve to the table.
