Onigiri is a traditional Japanese dish consisting of rice balls or triangles cooked together with various fillings. For example, such an excellent vegetarian option with cucumbers will appeal even to those who are on a diet.
Ingredients
- Round rice - 1 glass
- Water - 1 glass
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Sesame - 1 tbsp.l .
- Cucumbers - 40 g
- Dill - 1 twig
- Nori - 0.5 sheet
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the rice, fill it with water, bring it to a boil and cook on low heat under the lid for about 10-12 minutes until the water is absorbed.
Remove it from the heat and leave it under the lid for another 10 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Chop the dill and cucumbers. You can add something else to taste.
Take a piece of rice and form a triangle of onigiri with cucumber filling.
If desired, roll the onigiri in sesame seeds and wrap the nori strip.
