In addition to the main dishes, there should always be something for a snack. An excellent option would be a liver pate made of beef liver with butter. Sometimes the filling is mixed with herbs and garlic. I offer you a classic recipe, and you already act at your discretion.
Ingredients
- Beef liver - 600 g
- Butter - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut beef liver into small pieces and place in a saucepan.
Add water and cook for 30 minutes.
Peel and finely chop the onion, grate the carrots.
Fry the onion and carrot in vegetable oil until soft.
Place the boiled liver, roast, 15 g of butter and a peeled garlic clove in the blender bowl.
Pepper, salt and grind until smooth.
Spread the baking paper on the table, lay out the pate in a thick layer and smooth it out.
Add a layer of butter on top. For convenience, it should be softened in advance.
Carefully roll up the roll and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Remove the finished liver paste from the paper and cut into portions.
