For sure, everyone has their favorite version of shawarma. Someone likes it with a lot of meat, and for someone the sauce is important. I love shawarma with chicken, cheese and chili sauce. I will share this wonderful recipe with you today.
Ingredients
- Lavash (Armenian) – 4 pieces
- Chicken fillet (boiled) – 350 g
- Cheese (solid) – 150 g
- Cucumbers - 200 g
- Lettuce - 4 leaf
- Chili sauce - 4 tsp.
- Mayonnaise - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the boiled chicken fillet into small pieces.
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Cut the cucumbers into thin plates.
Spread the pita bread on the table and, using a silicone brush, smear with mayonnaise.
Occupying the third part of the wide edge of the pita bread, lay out the salad leaf, chicken, cheese and cucumbers.
Draw a thin strip of chili sauce over the filling.
Tuck the loose sides inside and roll the pita bread into a tight roll. Repeat the steps with the remaining pita bread and filling.
