In ancient China, an appetizing snack symbolized the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new life. There is no classic recipe for spring rolls. They can be prepared from various vegetables and seafood. Only one ingredient remains unchanged — rice paper.
Ingredients
- Shrimp (boiled) – 200 g
- Lettuce - 2 sheet
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Rice noodles (boiled) – 100 g
- Rice paper - 3 sheet
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
- Chili sauce - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the shrimp with boiling water, peel off the shells and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Mix rice noodles with chili sauce and garlic passed through a press.
Cut the lettuce leaves into small strips.
Place rice paper in cold water for 15 seconds.
Put the rice paper on the board.
Place a row of shrimp in the center.
Add lettuce leaves and noodles.
Turn the sides inside and roll the spring roll. Repeat the procedure with the remaining sheets and filling.
