True connoisseurs of Italian cuisine know how important pesto sauce is. Traditionally, it should be cooked in a marble mortar, but it is more convenient and faster to use a blender. I'm telling you a simple recipe!

Ingredients

  • Basil - 200 g
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Nuts (cedar) – 2 tbsp.l .
  • Parmesan - 40 g
  • Olive oil (first spin) – 150 ml
  • Salt - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Dry the pine nuts in a frying pan for a couple of minutes.

Rinse the basil, shake it lightly and dry it with a paper towel. Peel the garlic cloves from the husk.

Grate the parmesan on a fine grater.

Grind nuts, garlic and basil in a blender until smooth.

Transfer to a bowl, add salt, cheese, olive oil and mix well.
