A traditional seafood supplement, although many are happy to season meat and vegetables with it. The classic tartar sauce is prepared on the basis of boiled yolks with the addition of capers and pickled cucumbers. There is no garlic in the list of mandatory products, but it can be added.
Ingredients
- Egg yolks (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Pickled cucumbers - 1 piece
- Capers - 1 tbsp.l .
- Dill - a couple of twigs
- Mustard - 1 art.l.
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the boiled yolks in a bowl and mash with a fork.
Add mustard, lemon juice, oil and beat with a mixer until smooth.
Chop the pickled cucumbers, capers and dill.
Pour into a bowl with a liquid preparation and mix well.
Add ground pepper, salt to taste and mix well again.
