Asian cuisine is famous for its spicy spicy sauces. Thai sweet and sour is one of my favorites. It is suitable for light spring rolls, vegetables, noodles, chicken - and almost any dishes. And it is quite easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- Water - 0.25 glasses
- Sugar - 0.25 glasses
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ginger - 1-2 cm
- Dried chili pepper (flakes) – 1 art.l.
- Wine vinegar (white) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Ketchup - 2 tsp.
- Starch - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the ginger and garlic.
Add water, sugar, chili flakes, salt, vinegar and ketchup to them if desired.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Dissolve the starch in a spoonful of water.
Pour it into the sauce, stirring constantly.
Remove the sauce from the heat.
