It is known that visual perception of food is necessary for full enjoyment of it. It follows from this that the dish should be not only delicious, but also beautiful. Like, for example, pea soup with meat and vegetables. It looks just amazing, and the taste is above all praise!
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts - 400 g
- Peas (stabbed) – 1 glass
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Cherry tomatoes - 300 g
- Green peas (in pods) – 200 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Butter - 50 g
- Cilantro - 5 twigs
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water (purified) – 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the peas and soak them in cold water for 2 hours.
Rinse the peas again, pour into a saucepan with clean water and boil for 30 minutes.
Chop the chicken, green pea pods, peeled potatoes, onions and bell peppers. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Pour the meat into the pot with the peas and continue to cook for another half hour.
Fry onions and carrots in butter until golden brown.
Add bell pepper and whole cherry tomatoes. Fry the vegetables, stirring constantly.
Pour the roast into a saucepan, add the potatoes and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
Add salt, pepper and green peas. After 5 minutes, remove from the heat and leave to infuse under the lid.
When serving, generously sprinkle the soup with finely chopped coriander.
