Did you know that originally a cutlet was called a piece of fried meat on a rib bone? Over the years, the recipe has become popular and has changed a lot. Now cutlets are made from different products. Today I offer an excellent recipe with semolina.
Ingredients
- Minced meat - 500 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Semolina - 3 tbsp.l.
- Milk (warm) – 3 tbsp.l .
- Onion - 1 piece
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 60 ml
- Greenery (for decoration) – a couple of twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Mix the minced meat, roast, egg, salt, ground pepper and semolina.
Pour in warm milk, mix well, cover with cling film and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Take a little minced meat with a spoon, form a cutlet in your hands and put it on a preheated frying pan with oil. Repeat the steps with the rest of the minced meat.
Fry the cutlets on medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Put the finished cutlets on a plate and garnish with herbs.
