Are you going to cook a duck? Do not rush to bake it whole, it is better to divide it into small pieces. So they will bake faster and better! Don't forget that you can't chop bones. It is correct to divide the bird by joints and only with a knife.

Ingredients

  • Duck (2-2.5 kg) – 1 carcass
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Honey - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
  • Turmeric - 0,5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the duck carcass inside and out, dry thoroughly with paper towels.

Cut the duck into small pieces.

In a separate container, mix soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, turmeric, ground pepper and salt.

Add the garlic passed through the press and mix.

Place the duck pieces in a deep bowl.

Pour in the prepared marinade, mix well with your hands, cover with cling film and leave at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.

Transfer the duck to a heat-resistant mold and cover with a double layer of foil.

Bake for 1.5 hours in the oven at 220 degrees, then carefully remove the foil and cook for another 30-40 minutes.

Serve the finished duck to the table with vegetables and fresh herbs.
