Mackerel is the fish that we often take whole, and not in the form of fillets. Accordingly, this should be taken into account when preparing it. I tell you how to bake it in the oven as a whole – the whole carcass with a head and tail. It turns out very tasty and spectacular!
Ingredients
- Mackerel - 2 carcasses
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Dill - 0.5 beam
- Ground black pepper - 2 pinches
- Dried chili pepper - 1 pinch
- Sea salt - 1 tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Completely gut and rinse the mackerel. Make shallow incisions on top.
Rub the fish with oil and sprinkle with all the spices.
Finely chop the dill with garlic and put it inside the fish.
Put lemon slices into the incisions on the skin.
Bake the mackerel in the oven for 30 minutes at 190 degrees under foil and for another 10 minutes without it.
