Since the slow cooker appeared in my kitchen, I have tried many different recipes. Among other things, I really enjoyed cooking stewed chicken in it. The meat turns out soft, juicy and incredibly delicious!
Ingredients
- Chicken (different parts) – 1 kg
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Water (purified) – 2 glasses
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken, dry it and cut it into small pieces.
Peel the onion from the husk and chop.
Pour vegetable oil into the bowl of the slow cooker, turn on the "Frying" mode. Pour in the chicken pieces and fry until golden brown on all sides.
Add the chopped onion and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Add salt, bay leaf and pepper mixture with peas. Pour in warm water.
Close the lid, activate the "Stewing" mode and cook for 1 hour.
