Planning a family dinner? Bake chicken legs in the oven with pepper and spices. The dish is prepared simply and relatively quickly. You can also use thighs, wings or fillets. Tender meat does not need pickling and always turns out soft.
Ingredients
- Chicken legs (chilled) – 1 kg
- Bell pepper (different colors) – 2 pieces
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Olive oil - 3 art.l
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 5 peas
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Salt (large) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse chicken legs under running water and dry with paper towels.
Rub allspice and black pepper in a mortar, add salt and bay leaves.
Peel the bell pepper from the stalks, seeds and finely chop. Peel the hot pepper, rinse and also chop.
Mix chicken legs, both types of peppers, oil and ground spices with salt.
Put the meat in a greased form, cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.
Remove the foil, reduce the heat to 160 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes.
Add salt to the finished dish if necessary and serve it on the table. Enjoy your meal!
