Pork and beef meatballs with feta in tomato sauce are very juicy and fragrant. But you can always use any other minced meat to your liking. You can cook such meatballs in an oven or a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Minced meat (pork-beef) – 400 g
- Tomato sauce - 400 ml
- Feta - 70 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Spices and seasonings - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the cooled or defrosted minced meat in a deep bowl. Beat in the egg, add salt and any spices.
Chop the onion in a blender or grate it on a grater. Add to the minced meat along with crumbled feta cheese.
Mix everything thoroughly.
With wet hands, form small neat meatballs and put them in a baking dish.
Pour the tomato sauce into the mold. Put the mold in the oven and cook for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Serve ready-made meatballs with fresh chopped herbs, as well as with a side dish if desired.
