Let's cook cutlets in tomato sauce today. According to this simple recipe, they turn out soft, juicy and very tasty. You can serve it with pasta, porridge or mashed potatoes. Use any minced meat you like.

Ingredients

For cutlets:
For sauce:
  • Tomato juice - 150 ml
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.l.
  • Black Pepper - 3 peas
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water (purified) – 200 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the onion from the husk and grate.

Mix the minced meat, onion, egg, salt, ground pepper and garlic passed through the press.

Shape the cutlets of the same size with your hands, put them in a preheated frying pan with oil and fry for 3 minutes on each side.

Peel the second onion and finely chop it.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.

Add tomato juice, black pepper, salt and hot water. Simmer everything together for 5 minutes.

Put fried cutlets in a frying pan with sauce, cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
