This recipe is an original way to cook boiled and smoked pork ribs at home. And then you can use them at your discretion – separately or in more complex complex dishes.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
- Onion - 1 piece
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Hot red pepper - 1 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Carnation - 2-3 buds
- Salt (per 1 liter of water) – 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Add salt and all spices and onions to the water. Bring to a boil.
Put the ribs in the water and cook for 45 minutes on low heat.
Let the ribs cool in the brine, and then hang them overnight to dry in the fresh air.
Send the ribs to the smokehouse according to the instructions for your specific model.
Smoke the ribs for about 40 minutes at a stable temperature of about 140 degrees.
Serve them this way or brown them on the grill.
