A very original addition to the banal pearl porridge – carrots and dried fruits. Moreover, I recommend taking young carrots so that they are as juicy and sweet as possible. This recipe is for all owners of slow cookers and fans of proper nutrition in one person.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Soak the pearl barley for at least a couple of hours and rinse.

Finely chop the carrots and dried fruits, and send everything with the grits to the bowl of the slow cooker.

Fill with water and cook porridge for an hour in the same mode.

5 minutes before the end, add honey and spices to taste.
