When I want to cook a light dish without meat, I often turn to this recipe. Fragrant spices and juicy vegetables are perfectly combined with rice. For a more expressive taste, you can use mushroom or vegetable broth. I cooked on the water.
Ingredients
- Fig - 2 glasses
- Bell pepper - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 4 teeth
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Zira - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Water (boiling water) – 800 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop tomatoes, peeled onions and bell peppers.
Grate carrots on a coarse grater or slice.
Turn on the "Frying" mode and fry the onion in oil until golden brown.
Add spices, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes and continue to fry for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Peel the garlic cloves, lightly crush them with the blade of a knife and add them to the bowl of a slow cooker.
Pour in the washed rice, add salt and pour in hot water.
Close the lid and activate the Pilaf program for 30 minutes.
