France has given the world a lot of culinary masterpieces. Among them is the very popular Chateaubriand steak. It is prepared from high-quality beef tenderloin. In general, the recipe is quite simple. Try to cook a dish and see for yourself.

Ingredients

  • Beef (steak) – 600 g
  • Olive oil - 2 art.l.
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt (large) – to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rub the beef steak with salt, ground pepper and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, lay out the steak and fry on high heat for 2 minutes on each side.

Transfer the meat to a foil-lined pan and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.

Remove the steak from the oven and cover with a double layer of foil for 10 minutes.
