Pieces of cod can be baked in different ways: on a baking sheet, in foil, in a sleeve. Or you can – in the form of such a beautiful casserole in the form of cherry tomatoes and a couple of other ingredients. So the dish turns out not only delicious, but also spectacular, so it will adequately decorate any feast. You can serve it even on a holiday.
Ingredients
- Cod - 500 g
- Cherry tomatoes - 300 g
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Thyme - 3 twigs
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Onion - 1 piece
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Season the pieces of cod with salt and pepper on both sides.
Lightly fry them in olive oil for literally a couple of minutes on each side.
Put the cod in a mold, and arrange the cherry, lemon slices and garlic around.
Sprinkle thyme all over the top and bake the fish in the oven for about 20 minutes at 190 degrees.
