- Pork - 400 g
- Pearl barley - 100 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cucumbers (salty) – 2 pieces
- Cucumber pickle - 3 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Water (filtered) – 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the pearl barley and soak it in separate water for 1 hour.
Wash the pork, cut into small pieces and put it in a saucepan.
Add the pearl barley, bay leaf, cold and cook for 45 minutes after boiling.
Chop cucumbers, carrots, peeled potatoes and onions.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Add cucumbers, brine and simmer for another 1 minute.
Pour the roast and potatoes into a saucepan with meat. Cook everything together for 15 minutes.
Add salt, turn off and leave under the lid for 10 minutes. During this time, the soup will be infused, and the taste will become even more harmonious!
