One of my favorite home tricks is to add a little turmeric to transparent vegetable soups. This is an ideal natural dye that gives the dish a charming golden hue. And for density and satiety, I suggest taking rice.
Ingredients
- Chicken broth - 2 l
- Fig - 60 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green peas - 150 g
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Bring the broth to a boil and add the chopped potatoes and rice.
Boil for 5 minutes and add finely chopped carrots and onions.
After another 5 minutes, add the peas and all the spices.
Cook the soup until the rice and potatoes are ready.
