This recipe is for those who are interested in hearty breakfasts. Cook an omelet with potatoes and you will not remember about food until lunch. Potatoes can be pre-boiled or baked, as I did. It is most convenient to cook such a dish in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Potatoes (medium) – 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 10 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and slice potatoes and onions.
Turn on the Baking program, pour in the potatoes mixed with vegetable oil, and close the lid. Cook for 30 minutes, then put the potatoes in a separate bowl.
Switch the slow cooker to the "Frying" mode, add the onion and fry until golden brown. Also put the finished onion in a separate container.
Lightly whisk the eggs, salt and ground pepper.
Add the cooled potatoes and onions to the egg mixture, mix.
Lubricate the bowl of the slow cooker with butter, put the egg-vegetable mixture and close the lid. Cook for 20 minutes on the "Baking" or "Omelet" program.
