Meatballs in a tender and thick mushroom sauce are an amazing dish for the whole family. You can add some chopped mushrooms directly to the minced meat. When serving, I advise you to decorate them with sprigs of your favorite greens. By the way, any stuffing will do.
Ingredients
- Minced meat - 500 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Champignons - 250 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Processed cheese - 50 g
- Cream - 200 ml
- Rice (boiled) – 150 g
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop one onion and send it into minced meat with boiled rice. Season with salt and pepper, add the egg and knead until smooth.
Form small meatballs and fry on all sides until golden. Set aside.
Cut the second onion and mushrooms, and fry them until the liquid evaporates.
Season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream and simmer the sauce for a couple of minutes. Add the melted cheese and simmer again until it melts.
Put the meatballs in the mushroom sauce, mix gently and cook for another 15-20 minutes under the lid.
